It went into operation in June 1992 with sufficient means and personnel, carrying out its activity as the needs of the service call for steadily higher qualifications.

On 26 June 1995, via public tender, the Port Authority of Tarragona awarded a contract for mooring/unmooring services in this port to our company Boteros Amarradores de Tarragona, S.L., from that moment forth taking part in all the Port's ancillary and traffic services.

Boteros Amarradores de Tarragona S.L. is a member of  APPORTT, (Agrupació per a la Promoció del Port de Tarragona) .It has ISO 9001: 2000 Certificate of Quality and Certificate of Environment 14.001:1996
